A kind old man at the bus stop told me when the bus was due because I couldn’t find my timetable and we got chatting about transport and Adelaide. He told me all about the different places he’s been in Australia and the world and how the transport compares, we had a mutual whinge about the train services being off and he told me about being an engineer and travelling. He asked if I’d had a nice day and where i was off to and when the bus finally came (late of course) he said “ladies first” and told me to have a week as lovely as the chat we’d just had.
